This week i have been working on another negative space project and a project I'm making for a friend.

This week I'm working mostly with porcelain. Today when I came to ceramics I found that my bowl "sharktooth" was accepted into a city hall display for the summer. This is awesome, considering that other bowl started out as a mistake that I had to cover up and make it look like it was on purpose. The bowl is also going to be it up for display during the spring lay, which is also cool. This week I am working on an experiment hat I call "firefly". It is a sphere with several holes in it on an upside down lid. The project will hold a candle and show light through he holes of the sphere, casting a negative space shadow/light effect.

This week in ceramics I went back to the kick wheel which I oddly am better with than on a regular wheel. I made 2 projects on the kick wheel, a cylinder and a tall cylinder. The kick wheel has been my lucky charm since I started ceramics. I think I might make my theme negative space.

This week I am beginning to struggle with making projects. I am going to watch some tutorials on ceramics and stay after school to get work something done. This week I attempted to make a new late since the two I made last week broke and disappeared completely. I attempted to make several bowls and cylinders but I did not manage to make any successfully.

This week in ceramics I experimented with porcelain and made a small bowl out of it. I also made two plates, one of the lates cracked, and the other was completely destroyed.

This week i attempted to make a tall project but couldn't manage to make one. after Mrs  Heideman showed us a plate demo I made 2 plates on Wednesday and foot them on thursday

Day 1, I'm so exited for my second semester of advanced ceramics. ENTHUSIASM.
